Interior Painting

We transformed this St Leonards home with a full exterior repaint, bringing tired weatherboards and faded paint back to life with a modern sandstone grey finish. The project involved detailed preparation, washing, sanding, filling, undercoating, and two top coats to achieve a durable, high-quality result. We also organised the scaffolding, making the entire painting process smooth.

This was a full exterior house repaint on St Leonards Drive. The existing paint was tired with peeling weatherboards, faded colour, and the whole place just looked worn out. The owners wanted a fresh look so we worked within their budget to make it happen.

No Shortcuts

With exterior painting, the prep is everything. We did a full wash down of the house, sanded and filled where needed, then undercoated every weatherboard before applying two full top coats. No spot priming, and no cutting corners. If you skip the prep work on an exterior job it comes back to bite you within a couple of years.

We also organised the scaffold so the homeowners wouldn't have to worry about that side of things.

The Colour Change

The house went from an old white to a sandstone grey, while keeping the existing white windows as contrast. This completely changed the street presence of the place, breathing some life back into the home. A good colour choice makes a huge difference on these older Dunedin homes.
